Carly McElvaine M.Ed, BCBA, LBA
Co-Founder
Director of Family Supports
Carly McElvaine co-founded Northern Pines Academy in 2022 and has worked in the disability field for almost 15 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Recreation Sports, Park, Administration (emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation) and a minor in Psychology from Missouri State University. She worked in the non-profit sector as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) supporting people with disabilities and their families since 2011. Carly returned to school to complete a master's degree in Special Education (emphasis in Functional Analysis) at Gonzaga University. Carly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Washington State. Carly is also an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University. Carly is passionate about providing accessible services to individuals and their families.

Kellie Roy M.Ed, BCBA,
LBA
Co-Founder
Director of Children's Services
Kellie Roy co-founded Northern Pines Academy in 2022 and has worked with children for 10 years. Five of those years specifically with children with autism. Kellie obtained her undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University in 2015 before working as a private nanny, preschool aid, and eventually a registered behavior technician at a local Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy) clinic. Kellie decided to return to Gonzaga University to pursue her master's degree in special education (emphasis in functional analysis) in 2018. Kellie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Washington State and worked as a clinical BCBA for children with autism primarily ages 2-6 from 2020-2022. Kellie is passionate about bringing children of all abilities together to learn, grow, and play.
